Educational seminars are offered on a regular basis covering various industry related issues, including CSABC Star COR Courses, WCB Claims Management, Tendering Guidelines, Bid Depository Procedures, Construction Litigation and Government Regulations.  CAV sponsors a Scholarship Program for Trade Apprentices as well as for Continuing Education.

Each year CAV hosts two golf tournaments and banquets at private golf clubs in Greater Victoria (June & September).

CAV hosts a Christmas Lunch in early December annually.

The association's Annual General Meeting is held in January each year.  This is a popular event for members and guests; our AGM Committee chooses a local charity to benefit from the proceeds of the event.
