Industry Skills Association

The Industry Skills Association (ISA) is an industry-driven strategic partnership between SVICA, Canadian Home Builders' Association of Victoria and Camosun College to promote a career in construction and support the South Island School Districts in accessing student work experience and apprenticeship opportunities in the construction trades.

ISA has developed Connect2trades which is an innovative web based tracking, recruitment and student placement tool that would allow industry, educators and students to connect at critical levels as they interact with one another to address entry and access to workers and jobs. Connect2trades provides a seamless transition between education and industry to address the long term demand for skilled trades. This tool is attracting provincial interest and recognition.
